Who is Vida Jurisic?
Hello and welcome to my blog.
I’m Vida Jurisic, a professional writer, editor and business consultant, based in Toronto, Canada. My work as a consultant involves helping business that are just starting, experiencing growth or change to create and communicate a consistent message so they can prosper consistently.
My passion is helping people discover the best in themselves. And I have been able to do this throughout my professional life as I have listened quietly to people have opened up to me and reveal their passion – in English, French and Spanish—for their business, from monks, entrepreneurs to inventors and the last independent dairy farmer in Quebec. They were heard and I head the privilege of telling their story, i.e. their message in publications here and abroad.
I have also worked closely with three business coaches in the role of editor. The process was at times intense, delicate and highly demanding but together we were able to honour each other’s role and wisdom, get the book written and published. And I was pleased to help a lady edit her book of child’s prayer poems who was determined to find a publisher to acquire her work.
I am currently editor of Luggage, Leathergoods & Accessories Magazine (www.llanda.com ) that has been the voice of the Canadian luggage, leather goods and accessories industry for 43 years. The magazine is published by Media Diversified Inc. (www.mediadiversified.com), a seasoned Canadian custom publishing company.
